What's up, Trainers!

The "Dark Skies" prep week is officially over, and the moment we've all been waiting for is finally here! The GO Fest 2025 Max Finale weekend kicks off tomorrow, and with it, the ultimate showdown against the final boss, Eternatus!

But that's not all! While you're battling Eternatus, there's an insane "Gigantamax Challenge" happening at the same time, with a new G-Max boss rotating every single hour! It’s a chaotic side event, but the rewards are absolutely top-tier.

To help you conquer this amazing challenge, we've broken down the entire weekend schedule with the best "1 Damage Dealer & 2 Tanks" team comp for every single boss. Let's dive in!

📅 Saturday, August 23rd Raid Schedule

🕙 10:00 - 11:00 AM: Gigantamax Lapras (Water/Ice)

  • Dealer (1): Zamazenta. The perfect Fighting-type attacker to exploit Lapras's weakness.
  • Tanks (2): Zacian & Gigantamax Venusaur. Zacian resists Ice, and Venusaur shrugs off potential Grass/Electric moves, making them a perfect defensive duo.

🕚 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Gigantamax Snorlax (Normal)

  • Dealer (1): Zamazenta. The only weakness is Fighting, making Zamazenta the undisputed best choice.
  • Tanks (2): Gigantamax Gengar & Zacian. Gengar double-resists Fighting and resists Normal, while Zacian also resists Fighting. An unbreakable wall.

🕛 12:00 - 1:00 PM: Gigantamax Gengar (Ghost/Poison)

  • Dealer (1): Dynamax Excadrill. The best way to hit Gengar's Ground-type weakness for massive damage.
  • Tanks (2): Snorlax/Blissey & Zacian. Snorlax and Blissey double-resist Gengar's Ghost attacks, while Zacian resists both Ghost and Poison.

🕐 1:00 - 2:00 PM: Gigantamax Inteleon (Water)

  • Dealer (1): Gigantamax Rillaboom. The king of Grass-type DPS is your go-to choice here.
  • Tanks (2): Gigantamax Lapras & Gigantamax Venusaur. Lapras resists Water, and Venusaur can handle any potential Grass/Electric coverage moves.

🕑 2:00 - 3:00 PM: Gigantamax Venusaur (Grass/Poison)

  • Dealer (1): Gigantamax Cinderace. The ultimate Fire-type dealer to torch Venusaur's weaknesses.
  • Tanks (2): Gigantamax Lapras & Gigantamax Charizard. Lapras resists Ice/Fire moves, while Charizard resists Grass and double-resists Poison.

🕒 3:00 - 4:00 PM: Gigantamax Machamp (Fighting)

  • Dealer (1): Gigantamax Gengar. With no top-tier Dynamax Psychic/Fairy attackers, your best bet is to use the strongest generalist dealer. Gengar's raw power is the best choice, even without a type advantage.
  • Tanks (2): Zacian & Gigantamax Venusaur. Zacian resists Fighting, and Venusaur's Poison-typing also resists Fighting, making for a very stable defensive core.

🕓 4:00 - 5:00 PM: Gigantamax Toxtricity (Amped)

  • Dealer (1): Dynamax Excadrill. The one and only choice to exploit that massive 4x Ground weakness for an easy win.
  • Tanks (2): Gigantamax Venusaur & Zamazenta. Venusaur resists both Electric/Poison, and Zamazenta resists Poison.

📅 Sunday, August 24th Raid Schedule

🕙 10:00 - 11:00 AM: Gigantamax Rillaboom (Grass)

  • Dealer (1): Gigantamax Cinderace. The top Fire-type dealer.
  • Tanks (2): Gigantamax Charizard & Zamazenta. Both reliably resist Rillaboom's Grass attacks.

🕚 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Gigantamax Charizard (Fire/Flying)

  • Dealer (1): Gigantamax Inteleon / Blastoise. With no Dynamax Rock attackers, hitting the secondary Water weakness with these powerhouses is your best bet.
  • Tanks (2): Zamazenta & Gigantamax Lapras. Zamazenta is the ultimate shield against Charizard's deadly 4x Rock weakness, while Lapras double-resists Fire.

🕛 12:00 - 1:00 PM: Gigantamax Butterfree (Bug/Flying)

  • Dealer (1): Gigantamax Cinderace / Charizard. Again, with no Dynamax Rock attackers, hitting the secondary Fire weakness is the way to go.
  • Tanks (2): Zamazenta & Zacian. A great defensive duo that resists Rock, Bug, and Flying moves between them.

🕐 1:00 - 2:00 PM: Gigantamax Kingler (Water)

  • Dealer (1): Gigantamax Rillaboom. The top Grass-type dealer.
  • Tanks (2): Gigantamax Venusaur & Gigantamax Lapras. A perfect defensive core that resists Water, Grass, and Electric.

🕑 2:00 - 3:00 PM: Gigantamax Blastoise (Water)

  • Dealer (1): Gigantamax Rillaboom. The top Grass-type dealer.
  • Tanks (2): Gigantamax Lapras & Snorlax/Blissey. Lapras resists Water, while Snorlax is a great generalist tank.

🕒 3:00 - 4:00 PM: Gigantamax Cinderace (Fire)

  • Dealer (1): Gigantamax Inteleon. The top Water-type dealer.
  • Tanks (2): Gigantamax Lapras & Zamazenta. Lapras resists Fire, while Zamazenta can tank potential Rock coverage moves.

🕓 4:00 - 5:00 PM: Gigantamax Toxtricity (Low Key)

  • Dealer (1): Dynamax Excadrill. The ultimate counter for that 4x Ground weakness.
  • Tanks (2): Gigantamax Venusaur & Zamazenta. A solid defensive duo that resists both Electric and Poison.
